  • I became friends with Brandy in junior high. I remember Jim as a kind and caring dad and husband. I always felt welcome and included as though I were part of the family. And of course the sense of humor. Some fun memories were trips to Disneyland; Halloween costumes (Star Wars may have been involved); going to San Diego and me falling asleep 5 minutes into the car ride, to the great amusement of Connie and Jim (and probably Brandy too).
You will be missed. Hugs from the old country <3

  • My friendship with Jim began when we both worked at Disneyland.
Jim was very smart and skilled in many areas. He had an uncanny ability to appear almost like magic when you least expected it. Our many years as coworkers roaming often in the closed dark Magic Kingdom after all the guests were home tucked in their beds.
Jim gave me great advice and support when things were difficult for the workers in 1984. That support I will never forget.
When Jim retired that ability he had to make you laugh and not take life always so serious , headed with his Connie and Brandy to the NorthWest .
    You were good man Jim.

  • I will remember Jim as a dear friend and mentor, as well as a devoted and caring husband and father to his wife Connie and daughter Brandy. He was always kind and friendly, and he was as sharp as a tack. He was well-read, full of humor, and happy to talk about just about any topic under the sun. On a given day you could find Jim using the computers he built, fine-tuning his linux install, toying with new tech gadgets or tools, working on his cars or RV, home-brewing beer or wine, reading book after book, improving his woodworking skills, tending the garden, or planning frequent trips to state and national parks and other scenic areas.
