  • Tom and I were friends since grade school at Our Lady of Hungary and St Joseph high school n South Bend,Indiana. We were Boy Scouts and our fathers were adult advisors fur our scout troop. While he left South Bend for military service and his life on Washington we kept in contact thru letters and telephone calls. In the last couple of years we kept in touch by telephone and in the last year talked by telephone once or twice per month knowing that his time was limited. . I had planned to call him two days before he died but for some reasons, which I now regret, I didn’t call him. Please accept my heart felt condolences on your loss. Tom was a good man and a good long time friend.
