Adrianna Hammitt
Adrianna S. Hammitt came in to the world Adrianna S. Mares as a perfect big brown eyed baby girl July 21st, 1992, to wonderful parents Alfredo Mares Jr. and Norma U. Mares. She was the youngest of their 3 girls and in every sense of the words “the baby of the family”. Adrianna growing up was full of life she was so kind, funny, athletic and everyone’s friend. She excelled academically and was a true athlete on the soccer field following in her big Sister Margarita Westfall’s cleats. During Adrianna’s elementary, middle, and high school years she made lifelong friends who were still very much a huge part of her life through all her milestones and life experiences. She was the life of every party, dressed to the nines, first in line to karaoke, always down for a fun costume party and made sure her costume was top tier. Adrianna’s beautiful smile lit up any room she was in, and everyone gravitated to her. Adrianna was her daddy’s girl and her mommy’s world. She was the exact look alike to her father Alfredo and she took so much pride in looking like a Mares, and wow was she gorgeous. Adrianna and her dad had the strongest father daughter relationship everyone knew how important her father was in her life, not a day went by she didn’t talk to her dad or run every plan, question, idea, event by him. He was her anchor. Her mother was monumental in her life adored her and would always let her know she was so loved before her passing in 2012. Adrianna made time and loved her extended family so much especially her God Mother Rosie. Adrianna married the love of her life Lane P. Hammitt June 22 2014 after meeting at the gym working out, they fell in love, and they were able to travel and experience life’s adventures together. Adrianna was a traveler she loved nothing more than to experience new things see new places and laugh the whole time. Soon they welcomed their first perfect baby boy Colson A. Hammitt who she would say “was the one to make her a mama” she adored being a mother to him and would work so hard to provide a life of abundance and love to him. Soon they would welcome a 2nd baby boy Rylen A. Hammitt and in true 2nd child fashion let the races begin. He brought the best kind of chaos that Adrianna was a sucker for both the boys they were her everything and she wanted nothing more than to see them happy protected and loved #colsonandrylensworld. Adrianna was loved by all family and friends because she was able to love so hard and so intentional. Adrianna has many best friends, she was able to put so much time and effort into those friendships because they were all so important to her, but her best friend of all was her big sister Margarita Westfall aka Margie. The two of them wouldn’t let a day let alone hours go between some sort of communication. Simple to the most complex details of life were always shared but no matter what it was always the humor that sealed the unbreakable bond, their souls are intertwined forever, when you see one you see the other too. She also gained a real brother in her brother-in-law Kyler L. Westfall who had met her at 12 years old and had the pleasure of seeing her grow up into an amazing woman. She always knew there was nothing Kyler would not do for her and her family. Adrianna adored her nieces and nephew Kiana N. Westfall, Malia N. Westfall, Kaeleigh A. Osborn and Austin Z. Osborn, she helped raise them and at every event she was sure to make the biggest deal out of it like with cake and balloons in hand even for a little lost tooth. Adrianna had the biggest heart, and it took you one time to talk to her to know she would be a lifer of a friend. Her presence will be missed forever but her legacy will last a lifetime, her boys will carry her memory in all that they do and show the world the light in them that was their Mommy’s. Adrianna was preceded in death by her mother, Norma U. Mares and many loved ones. Adrianna was a strong Christian woman who was involved in her church and helped the youth seek a deeper relationship with our Lord. Adrianna was saved and always understood the dust returns to the earth as it was, and the spirit returns to God who gave it. If you knew Adrianna you are blessed, Adrianna is one to always remember and find in the most beautiful parts of life. We love you Adrianna, Mija, T-Nannie, Anna, Nan, Babe, Mommy, Sister.
