Brenda Lea Beauchamp

Brenda Lea Beauchamp passed away unexpectedly and peacefully at her home in Richland, WA, she was 62 years young.

Brenda was born to our parents Glenn and Nadine Beauchamp in Kennewick, WA, she grew up in Richland, WA, attended Marcus Whitman elementary, Carmichael Jr. High and a Columbia/Richland High School Bomber alumni Class of 1980, a band member in junior high and a high school marching band member playing the clarinet, attended a short time at St. Paul Bible College in St. Paul, MN returned home to help take care of our terminally ill mother, she earned a degree from Charter Business College and Trend College.

Brenda was steadfast in her faith and loved our Lord Jesus Christ God Almighty Creator of Heaven and earth. She has been a Child of God from an early age, through her undying faith she was a loving, loyal, obedient child, daughter, sister, friend and women, she provided tender love and care in taking care of our terminally ill father and mother up to both their passing.  As a youth and young adult Brenda attended Richland Alliance Church in Richland, WA she was member of the church youth/young adult group and Selah Singers Choir, she devoted time to a missionary mission in Nicaragua, she attended and was a church staff member at Fox Island Alliance Church in Gig Harbor, WA, when she lived there.

Brenda had her own laugh, her own sense of humor, her likes and dislikes that was comical, quirky that made who she was. Brenda talked to everyone she had a very special way of making you feel welcome, loved and accepted. Her unwavering passion to help and be there for her family, friends or anyone who needed a friend or loving support. Brenda loved her family unconditionally, she lived to have many special memories as a youth to the day of her passing having spent time with family traveling to many different places, camping, playing cards and boardgames especially Pinochle and watching football together (she was a devoted Seahawks fan), she loved attending church, participating in church events and activities, an avid watcher of television game shows and Olympic Games, enjoyed baking, needle point, word puzzles and bowling.

Brenda was a gifted Lead and Trainer for TJ Maxx retail store since 1987 in Gig Harbor, WA and in Kennewick, WA. She traveled to countless stores training people which she truly loved. She was held in very high regard by store employes all the way up to the corporate office, she knew everyone, employees respected her, her dedication and loyalty to helping new and existing employees, it was known by her co-workers she could be counted on to go above and beyond to help all employees.  Brenda was so proud of her work talents and ability, she had a goal to achieve 40 years of service, she almost made it this year it would have been her 37th year of service. Brenda was also a past employee at Tacoma Community College, Tacoma, WA for 10 plus years of dedicated service.

Brenda’s world revolved around her much loved and adored nephews Kevin Jr., Aaron, Austin, Elijah, niece Mykele, great nephews Dohnovan, Connor, Mazen, great nieces Oliviah and Rylee. She loved sharing their lives attending all their events and achievements, always ready to share with others a picture, a story, a detail of their accomplishments, they were her heart. Brenda was so very proud of all her nephews and nieces.

Brenda’s passing is so deeply felt by many, more than she could have imagined. Brenda was ready when God called her name so gently that only she could hear. No one heard the footsteps of Jesus drawing near… softly and ever so gently she closed her eyes and went to sleep… Jesus took you in his arms and into heaven. Psalms 23 says it best.

  • I remember Brenda from our Selah Singer days. She was a precious friend and will be missed. Praising God that she is now healed and in her heavenly home. What a gift to be able to spend Christmas with our savior. Prayers lifted for all of her family and friends, for peace, as you all navigate this journey without her presence. I’m so sorry for your loss.

  • Sending my condolences to the family. My prayers are with you and Brenda. Brenda and I met at TJ Maxx, Tacoma. We opened the store in 1988. She was so committed to her job. A hard worker who would go out of her way to get everything done. Even if that meant to stay overtime. A great mentor to people who needed to be trained. She knew it all. Brenda(BB), you will truly be missed. I will miss your kindness and laugh. Rest in peace my dear friend.

” May the road rise to meet you. May the wind always be at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face, and rains fall soft upon your fields. And until we meet again. May God hold you in the palm of his hands.”
