The Lord called Jeffrey L. Baumgarten home on December 19, 2024.

Jeff was born in Brighton, Colorado on May 8, 1961, to George and Kathryn Baumgarten.

He grew up in Grand Junction, Colorado, where he was active in golf and tennis.

The family moved to Richland, Washington, and Jeff graduated from Hanford High School, while working for Tri-City Fence.  He worked in oil fields in Colorado and irrigating orchards in California when he met Donna Bean, the love of his life.  They had two children before relocating to Richland.

He was an ironworker at the Hanford site, until he had health problems that separated the family.

He still liked sports, camping, fishing and playing cribbage with his family.

His latter years, you would find him at Buckskin Golf Course, loving every moment, and volunteering his mechanical expertise.

He was preceded in death by his father, George.  He leaves behind his mother, Kathryn, his sister Brenda, brother Scot, son Cody, his daughter Elizabeth, granddaughter Teagen, son in law Cameron, stepson Michael and his ex-wife Donna.  He leaves several nieces, a nephew, aunts, cousins and friends.
