Dave pursued his natural artistic ability in the area of architecture, gaining his state architect’s license in 1992. He was employed at Lamb-Weston corporate offices in Kennewick as an industrial architect/engineer/project manager for 28 years. Dave loved the Lord and loved teaching the Bible and discipling others.

Dave was a very dear friend. He never became a pastor or missionary but he used what he learned at Western Baptist and his in-depth Bible studies to bless many. He was used by the Lord greatly. We will miss him greatly. Our prayers are with Ruth, Dave´s life-long love. May she feel all the love the Lord has for her these days.
To my baby Brother, I love you and will miss you very much. Until we meet again in Heaven.
All my Love and Prayers to my Sister in Law, Ruth. May God give you strength and comfort, my dear Sister.
Love Margaret….
condolences from Dale and Dianne Farwell.

Dave spent many late evenings with me riding in my patrol car and enjoying a ringside seat to what real cops do. The many hours spent together laughing and talking about life are fond guy memories. I remember Ruthie was planning a surprise party to celebrate Dave receiving his architecture license. I was supposed to keep him away from the house all afternoon. We went golfing and walked the West Richland Golf course for about five hours on a hot day. Dave and I could hardly walk when we finished and I don’t think he ever played golf again. Those who knew him, knew his heart for the Lord and disciplining others through Sunday School and Bible classes.. He made a profound difference in the lives of many people. A faithful servant is now with his faithful Lord and Savior.
I remember when Ruthie brought Dave home from college the first time! My oh my! Mom & I got a kick out of him – it was his sense of humor! If he was here, I would tell him we will take care of Ruthie because she’s important to us.
