Salvador Cosio Contreras (58), affectionately known as Sal, passed away on January 26, 2025, in Pasco, Washington, surrounded by his loving family.

Born on August 1, 1966, in Manzanillo, Colima, Mexico, to Salvador Cosio and Maria Rosario Contreras, Sal was known for his vibrant personality, intelligence, and deep compassion for others. He was always eager to help, dedicating much of his time to supporting the deaf and blind community. Sal had a passion for travel and a unique ability to make people laugh, leaving a lasting impression on everyone he met. His warmth and infectious smile could light up any room, and he was always seeking to learn and grow in every way possible.

Sal is survived by his beloved son Franklin, daughters Jacqueline and Krista, son-in-law Brian, partner Chris, and his sisters Nora, Imelda, Saida, and Rosario, along with many nieces and nephews who adored him.

Sal’s legacy of kindness, laughter, and learning will continue to inspire those who knew him.

A Public Viewing will be held on Wednesday, January 29th, 2025 from 10am -2pm at Einan’s At Sunset Chapel, 915 Bypass Hwy, Richland, WA 99352.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, January 30th, 2025 at 11:00 am at Einan’s At Sunset Chapel, 915 Bypass Hwy, Richland, WA 99352. Private family inurnment to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Richland, WA.
