David A. Casale

David Alan Casale was born on November 22, 1955, in Richland, Washington. He peacefully completed his earthly journey on March 1, 2025, at the age of 69, residing in Kennewick, Washington at the time of his passing. Throughout his life, David’s dedication to his faith, family, and friends defined his journey and shaped his legacy.

As a devoted Christian, David’s spirituality was evident in every aspect of his life. His children, Bryson and Marcy Casale, were his greatest achievements, and he found profound joy and fulfillment in their lives. His quick wit and sense of humor endeared him to many, and his love for family was the foundation upon which his relationships were built.

David was a successful entrepreneur, operating his own business before transitioning to a career in paraeducation, where he nurtured young minds and embodied his passion for helping others. He touched so many lives over the years.

David leaves behind a legacy of love and faith, survived by his children, Marcy Casale, Bryson Casale (Megan), grandchildren, Brody and Paige, his brother Bobby Casale, and sister Lori Casale-Mooney (Wayne). They hold him in their hearts as a devoted father, grandfather and brother. In his journey home to be with the Lord he will be greeted by cherished loved ones, his mother Raideen Roy (Clement), father Joseph Casale, and his beloved grandparents Nellie & Percy Porter.

As we gather to honor David’s life, we embrace the words of his favorite scripture from Psalm 139: “You have searched me, Lord, and you know me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too lofty for me to attain…” As we celebrate David’s life, we hold these truths close, assured that his spirit rests in eternal peace.

You will be loved Always & Forever.

  • Dave was a very good friend of mine in school…and on the fields and courts of Richardson Park for countless football, basketball and baseball pick-up games. We shared the same interests with sports that started at Robert Frost Elementary and stayed all during our Stevens JH and Pasco HS days. I remember walking to school with him quite often, even while at PHS (because neither of us owned a car). I remember one “rite of passage” in 7th grade when we handed out Halloween candy at his house, being too old to participate in Halloween as “kids”. I have so many memories of Dave and I as kids. Sadly, we lost touch when I went away to college…but the memories remained. RIP Dave.

  • Dave was a kind and caring person. We had many laughs when we both worked at Washington Elementary. He always gave out CD’s that he put beautiful music on for people to listen to. He always had some great jokes to share and boy did the kids love to play football with him at recess. Dave may be gone but we will forever remember your great sense of humor and that beautiful smile you always had when ever I saw you. May you forever watch over all of us until we meet again my friend.

  • Dave was an amazing man who shared kindness and compassion with those around him. I saw this in action when we both worked at Washington Elementary where he helped many children, and shared his poetry at meaningful times with staff members. My condolences to the family and prayers for comfort.
