Judith Willard
Judith L. Willard passed on to her heavenly home April 11, 2025. She spent her life caring for her family and enjoyed retirement doting over her grandchildren and enjoyed a simple life of reading, traveling with family, and watching sports.
Judith was born to Elisabeth and Lee Larson on August 9th, 1933, in Polson Montana. She graduated from Polson High School and moved out to Richland Washington in 1951. Her first job was working for General Electric in the typing pool. Then she was assigned to the police department with 3 other ladies.
On January 23, 1953, Judith married Donald Willard. They were together for 58 wonderful years until Don’s passing on October 16th, 2011.
Judith quit her job after starting a family. Within 8 years, she was extremely busy with 4 kids in tow. Judith was an excellent homemaker and seamstress. She made all the kid’s clothes as they were growing up. Judith did find time to take a break and join a bowling league which she enjoyed for many years. She also was an avid reader and supported her kids in all their sporting events. She loved sports, especially watching the Mariners.
After the kids were in high school, Judith went back to work for Kadlec and worked in the Admitting Office for over 20 years. Judith was a true professional and dedicated worker. She led by example and always did the right thing.
Loving thanks to all the friends and family that supported Judith during her long illness. Special thanks to all the caregivers from Reach Home Care and the entire staff at Hospice.
The Willard family requests that memorial donations be made to
Tri-Cities Chaplaincy or the Charity of your choice.
Judith was a member of Richland Lutheran Church and a member of the Confederated Salish & Kootenai Tribes of the Flathead Indian Reservation.
She is survived by her loving sisters Loretta Juhnke(Larry) and Imelda Burton (Jim); her daughters Karen Willard (Fred), Teresa Willard, Beth Ruff (Edward); her son Kevin Willard; her four grandchildren, Claire, Kristen, Erik and Amelia. Also, many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceeded in death by her parents, sibling Marilyn, and daughter-in-law Joanne.
I always found Judith’s sense of humor very seeet but sharp sometimes. I know she is greatly missed.
