Aaron Webber
Aaron Webber was born on January 27, 1948, in Los Angeles, California, to Louise-Chizuko Lillian and Purvis Aaron Webber. As the fourth of six children, he grew up alongside his siblings Joan, Purvis, Mary, Annette, and Michael, forming close family bonds that would last a lifetime.
Aaron attended Monrovia High School, where he demonstrated both athletic and academic prowess. He played football and achieved a memorable pole vault record. After graduating in 1966, Aaron continued his education at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, focusing his studies on Business and Physical Education.
During school breaks and summers, Aaron worked with his father as a laborer. These formative experiences instilled in him a deep appreciation for integrity and efficiency, values that became the foundation of his career in the construction industry.
On May 6, 1972, Aaron married Carol Proctor (Webber) at the Chapel of the Bells in Las Vegas, Nevada. Their union, which lasted more than fifty years, was blessed with three children: Aaron II, Melanie, and Melissa.
In 1992, Aaron and his family relocated to Washington State, where he started a small framing contracting business. Affectionately known as “Big Boy” by his crew, Aaron earned deep respect—not just for his strong leadership, but for the genuine relationships he built with the people around him. He offered opportunities that others often withheld, always standing by his crew through life’s ups and downs. In the end, Aaron didn’t just build homes—he built a family. His influence left a lasting mark on the lives he touched, shaping not just careers, but character, and creating a legacy of loyalty, hard work, and heart.
Aaron passed away at Sweet Meadows Adult Family Home on October 16, 2025, having resided there since September 17, 2024. Preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, brother, and sister, Aaron leaves behind a legacy of love and dedication.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 53 years, Carol; his children: Aaron II & Melissa Webber, Melanie & Don, Melissa & Terrance Taylor; grandchildren: Jerid & Tori Ronquillo, Jalen Webber, Justin Webber, Christopher & Natalie Williams, Phillip Washington, Breonna Washington, Don III, Alyssa, Edynn Taylor, Amaya Taylor, Azariah (Bruno) Taylor; great-grandchildren: Benny Williams, Teigen and Tenley Ronquillo; sisters, Joan & Tom Phillips, Annette Scott; brother Michael & Monique; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.
When Aaron took my sister Carol in hand I was 12 years old and he’s been a special part of my life ever since. I’ve always looked up to him as my big brother and learned many things from him. I learned in my early childhood not only was he a Carpenter but that Aaron was a Bass Musician. He later fostered my love for jazz music teaching me the different artist and about sound. Aaron could light up any room and there was a peacefulness and a calm about him. I always knew that if he said it, I could rely on it. Aaron was the true definition of a Good Man and Father who loved, provided and sacrificed for his family.. Everything he put his hand to was Blessed and you Knew that he had been there. I’m going to Miss you brother n law and the precious memories that I hold dear, will be forever sketched in my heart. See you on the other side,
Cynthia
