  • My sincerest condolences to Dave’s family, who he loved deeply.

In over 40 years of friendship, Dave and I had many long conversations on just about any subject you can imagine. We often didn’t agree on things, and we always respected each other’s points of view. He shared many of his ideas with me; he shared his research on diabetes, his research on a religious book he was planning to write, and his beautiful poetry. Even though I never asked him for help, Dave always knew when I was in need, and always found some way to help. He was a true friend, and I shall miss him terribly.

May you rest in peace, dear friend. I know you are with the G-d of your understanding.
