Bryan James Foster, 34, of West Richland, passed away on March 26, 2026.
Bryan was born on October 25, 1991, in Kennewick to Nancy Foster and Timothy Foster.
He is survived by his loving wife, Taylor Darby; his cherished daughter, Ivy Foster; his brothers, Kyle(Shalayna)Foster, and Chris(Ashley)Foster; his nieces, Brooklyn Foster and Kaiya Foster; his nephews, Noah Foster, Dylan Foster, and Ethan Foster; his grandfather, George “Duke” Ellis; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Bryan was preceded in death by his niece, Haisley Foster; his mother and father; his grandmother, Charmaine Ellis; his grandparents Frank & Doris Foster and his cousin, Robert Ellis.
Bryan grew up in the Tri-Cities, primarily in Kennewick, Washington. As a child, he was outgoing, funny, and full of life. He loved the outdoors, especially camping trips with his parents and brothers. He was very close with his cousins, many of his fondest childhood memories were made with them at his grandmother’s home.
Bryan had a lifelong love of sports, with a special passion for football. Whether he was playing or watching, he was fully invested in the game. He was a devoted fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, and one of his happiest moments was attending an NFL game in 2023 to see them play.
Bryan met the love of his life, Taylor, during their final years of high school, and they shared nearly 15 years together building a life filled with love and memories.
Following high school, Bryan worked at Enterprise Holdings before beginning his career as a Nuclear Chemical Operator at Hanford. He was a dedicated and hardworking employee who took pride in his work. Bryan had a natural ability to connect with others, forming meaningful friendships and lasting relationships with many of his coworkers.
In his spare time Bryan enjoyed being in the mountains/outdoors & computer/video gaming He enjoyed building gaming computers -a hobby that reflected his talent, creativity & technical skill.
Above all else, Bryan’s greatest joy in life was being a father. He was a proud and devoted “girl dad,” and his daughter Ivy was the center of his world. He treasured every moment spent with her and carried on family traditions by taking her camping, creating lasting memories surrounded by nature. One place especially close to his heart was La Wis Wis Campground, where he had camped as a child and later returned with his own family.
He will be remembered for his kindness, his genuine spirit, his sense of humor, and the deep love he had for his daughter, family & friends.
