Kevin Augustine Sr.
Kevin Augustine Sr. was born on March 6, 1972, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Charles and Barbara Augustine. He passed away at the age of 54 in Richland, Washington, leaving behind the family he loved and who loved him so dearly: April, Asia, and Kevin Jr., as well as his parents and brothers, and many other extended family members across Missouri, Washington, Texas, California, Idaho, and Louisiana.
Kevin Sr. and April built their life together in Washington after meeting in California and marrying on June 14, 1997. They had two children, Asia and Kevin Jr., who were his greatest pride and joy. Much of their life together was spent supporting their children’s education, activities, and athletic pursuits, and Kevin Sr. cherished watching them grow into adulthood.
Kevin Sr. was a proud union electrician. He began his electrical career as an apprentice with IBEW Local 112 and earned the title of journeyman electrician in 2000. He later went to work at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) where he worked for 22 years, ultimately transferring his ticket into IBEW Local 77. Kevin valued the brotherhood and sisterhood of the IBEW and was known for his skill, dedication, and strong work ethic.
Outside of work, Kevin Sr. loved fishing, hunting, camping, and spending time outdoors with his family. Kevin’s legacy lives on in the family he cherished, the trade he was proud to practice, and the friendships he built throughout his life. From his beginnings in St. Louis to making his home in Washington State, Kevin created a loving family, built a fulfilling career, and lived a life he truly loved. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.
