It is with a sad and Joyous Heart that I let family and friends know that the Lord brought our Mom, Marilyn Best home this morning…just in time for our Dad’s Heavenly Birthday. Happy Heavenly Birthday Dad. They are finally back together again walking hand in hand for all eternity. We will definitely miss this beautiful ray of sunshine, glowing smile and infectious laugh of this beautiful lady we call Mom, Grammy, Gma, Great Grandma, Aunt, Great Aunt and friend. We can only hope to carry on her inspiring light, infectious smile and grateful servant’s heart as she raised us to share with all as she did.
I knew Marilyn at Westside Church and at the women’s Sarah Circle. She did indeed have a wonderful smile and infectious laugh. We missed her when she could no longer attend. The times I talked to her on the telephone when she could no longer get out, she was always positive and praised God for how blessed she was in spite of her severe pain. Thanks be to the Lord, she is now with Him and without pain. Praying for comfort for all your family. Carol Ransom
I will always remember Marilyn just as she looks in the attached photo – one big, joyous, beautiful smile! No matter her circumstances, she found a reason to be happy and grateful. She’d always tell me how blessed she was, how good God was to her. But, I’m the one that feels blessed to have known this wonderful, loving, and always smiling Marilyn.
