Kraig Harold Kammenzind, 57, of West Richland, Washington, passed away on June 7th, 2026.

Born on July 13, 1968, in Richland, Washington, to Keith and Cindy, Kraig spent his life in the Tri-Cities area, where he built a career, raised a family, and formed lifelong friendships.

Kraig began his career as an electrician after joining IBEW in 1986. He dedicated 30 years to the electrical trade before joining the Hanford workforce in 2016, where he continued working until his passing. He was known for his strong work ethic, dependability, and pride in a job well done.

Outside of work, Kraig found his greatest happiness outdoors. He loved hunting, spending time in the woods and mountains with his dad Keith and his Uncle Kent and making memories cruising the dunes at Sand Lake. Whether he was around a campfire, exploring the outdoors, or enjoying the simple moments with those he loved, Kraig was happiest surrounded by family and friends.

Above all else, Kraig cherished his family. Nothing brought him greater joy than being a dad—and especially being a Papa. His grandchildren were the light of his life, and he treasured every moment he spent with them.

Kraig is survived by his significant other, Kami Taylor; his children; Zach, Jordan, Kayla, Makenna, Riley and Trent; his parents, Faye who loved and raised Kraig as her own son, his father Keith Kammenzind, his mother Cindy Morgan; his sister Janelle Brownelle; his aunt Dawn Kammenzind; his cherished grandchildren; and many extended family members, friends, and coworkers who will miss him deeply.

Kraig will be remembered for his unwavering work ethic, his love of the outdoors, and the quiet strength and loyalty he shared with those closest to him. His legacy lives on in the countless memories made with family, friends, and everyone fortunate enough to know him.
