Celebration of Life
Thomas “Tom” M. Moore
Thomas “Tom” Michael Moore was born in Seattle on April 22, 1959, raised in Bellevue, graduated from Sammamish High School, and earned his BA degree in Communications Broadcasting at Washington State University. From an early age, Tom was enthusiastic about ALL sports, (reading the sports page cover to cover from the age of five). He began his career as Sports Director at KNDU TV in Kennewick, Washington. Tom expanded his media and sales expertise as an Account Executive at KZOK FM in Seattle, Cellular One/AT&T, KNDU TV, and FOX TV in the Tri-Cities. He fulfilled his dream of owning his own company in 2007 when he founded Mooreshots Direct, Inc, a successful advertising and marketing agency based in Richland, Washington. Tom excelled at all sports throughout his life, but had a particular passion for WSU football, skiing, golf, and was a proud member of Meadow Springs Country Club in Richland for decades. He spent much of his time at his second home in Manson WA. boating on Lake Chelan. Tom is survived by his wife and best friend, Kathy Moore (Richland, WA), sisters Colleen Carroll and her husband, Gregg (Arizona), sister Teri Gordon (Cle Elum, WA), mother-in-law Suzanne Suther (Bellevue, WA), brother-in-law Kevin Suther and his wife, Nicky (Bellevue, WA), sister-in-law Konnie (Bellevue, WA), and sister-in-law Karen Suther (Poulsbo, WA), nieces and nephews Meghan, Kylene, Lyndsay, Thomas, Jordan, Jonathan, and James, as well as his very special Australian Shepherd, Katy Kate. In memory of Tom Moore, donations may be made to Washington Junior Golf Association (WJGA).

Kathy, I’m so sorry for your loss. I will always remember you and Tom and our friendly Husky- Cougar rivalry. Those memories still make me smile. Keeping you and your family in my thoughts.
We were just getting to know Tom and Kathy as part of our new dinner club. We felt blessed to have some really good laughs, great food and fun memories with Tom. We will continue to create more with Kathy and Ms Katie girl.
I was really hoping to see you next summer at our 50th HS reunion… We were friends since elementary school at Woodridge, then Jr. High at Hyak and then onto Sammamish! You, of course, went to the wrong college (you should have joined me at the UW – Go Dawgs!) but … I loved seeing all your photos and adventures. I will always remember you as the cute little redhead with the great freckles! You teased me and I teased you right back. Little Tommy, you’ll be sorely missed!
May the family find peace in memories of his zest for life!
My fondest memory is meeting the two of you at the RoseBowl in 1997/1998! What a great time! I will always remember his constant smile and zest for life! He will be missed!
Very very sad to hear this news. Tom and Kathy, great people! Kathy, we are holding you dear within our hearts.
