Jake Staley

In Loving memory of Jacob William Staley

With brokenhearted and unwavering hope in Jesus Christ, we announce the passing of our

beloved Jacob Staley on July 21, 2026 at the age of 42.

While the pain of his absence is deep, we take comfort in the promise of God’s Word that “to

be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.” Though we mourn for a season, we do

not grieve without hope, for our confidence rests in the resurrection and eternal life found in

Christ.

Jacob was a treasured father, grandpa, son, brother, grandson, uncle, nephew and friend whose life

touched and saved many. He will be remembered of the love he shared, laughter he brought,

and the lasting impact he made on those blessed to know him. His life, now a testimony, and

memories forever remain a gift to his family and friends.

He was welcomed into heaven by Gerald L. Massengale, Ronald L. Baker, and Colt T. Staley.

He is lovingly survived by his children McKaila (Caleb) Zedwick and Ella and Brylee Staley,

his parents William (Rod) and Cheryl Staley, and siblings Jeremiah (Nicole) Staley and Rebecca (Kenneth)

Jacobsen.

Grandchildren Kenan, Selah, and Haven Zedwick, nieces and nephews Ryder and Hadley

Staley and Nova and Zhavia Jacobsen, grandparents William A. Staley, Edith Eileen Staley, and

Sharon Baker and Jennifer Massengale, along with many relatives and dear friends.

A celebration of Jacob’s life will be held at 1pm, Saturday, September 5, at The Garden

6811 W. Okanogan Place, Kennewick, WA, We invite all who knew and loved him to join us as

we honor his life. God will get all the glory.
