Tristan Weetch, 41, passed away on July 1, 2026, surrounded by family and love in Richland, WA.

Tristan is survived by Melinda DeLong-Weetch – wife, Jeffrey Weetch – father, Peggy Jennings – mother, and Anna Weetch – sister.

Tristan is preceded in death by Stella Weetch – Nan, Addie Otterstrom – Grandma, Dave Tabb – uncle, and Jim Otterstrom – uncle. Both his grandfathers passed away before Tristan was born..

The service for Tristan Weetch will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Events at Sunset.

Memorial donations can be made in Tristan’s name to your favorite charity supporting environmental conservation, voting/civil rights, or reducing homelessness.

Tristan was born near Denver, CO, grew up in England, lived in Australia where he studied graphic design, and then returned to live in the United States. He later moved to Tri-Cities, WA where he met his wife and made a home until his death. Tristan had an adventurous spirit and was most at home in nature. He loved jumping into the Columbia river on a hot summer day, kayaking the Yakama, and shooting his bow.

He was passionate about his art and was a talented graphic designer. Tristan founded his own graphic design agency, Weetch Design, Co. and is known for creating the branding design for many local businesses including Lazy River Taphouse and White Bluffs Brewing. Tristan developed the initial branding and booklet for the Pasco Taco Crawl which received the Summit Award for Tickets & Invitations, and Best in Show for Voucher Booklet from the Washington Festivals and Events Association 2023 Summit Awards.
