Con profunda tristeza y corazones pesados, anunciamos el fallecimiento de Vanessa Vargas, quien descansó en paz el 29 de julio de 2026, a los 22 años.

Vanessa nació el 29 de abril de 2004 en Prosser, Washington, sus padres, Elena y Leonel Vargas. Pasó la mayor parte de su vida en Benton City, donde creció junto a sus tres hermanos mayores, Cristian, Saúl y Leonel Jr., y su hermana menor, Mónica. La familia era el centro de la vida de Vanessa, y ella valoraba los lazos que compartía con sus seres queridos.

Vanessa era conocida por su bello espíritu, su corazón amable y su genuina compasión por los demás. Su cálida sonrisa podía iluminar cualquier habitación, y su risa traía consuelo y alegría a todos los que la rodeaban. Tenía una habilidad especial para hacer que la gente se sintiera bienvenida, valorada y amada, dejando una impresión duradera en todos los que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerla.

En su trabajo como cuidadora, Vanessa se dedicó a ayudar a los demás. Se acercaba a su trabajo con paciencia, empatía y determinación, siempre esforzándose por brindar el mejor cuidado posible. Ayudar a los demás era más que un trabajo para Vanessa; era un reflejo de la persona cariñosa y desinteresada que ella era.

Vanessa encontraba felicidad al pasar tiempo con su familia y amigos, creando recuerdos que se atesorarán para siempre. Ya fuera a través de sus palabras reflexivas, su sentido del humor o el amor que compartía tocó innumerables vidas y construyó vínculos que nunca serán olvidadas.

La precedieron en la muerte sus queridos abuelos, Jesús Vargas y Amador Gudino.

Vanessa deja a su querido padre, Leonel Vargas Cruz; a su madre, Elena Vargas Gudino; a su amada hermana, Mónica Cortez; a sus hermanos, Cristian Vargas, Saúl Vargas y Leonel Vargas Jr.; a su sobrino, Santiago Vargas; y a su sobrina, Isabella Vargas. También deja atrás a sus abuelas, tías, tíos, primos, familiares extensos y muchos queridos amigos cuyas vidas fueron tocadas por su amabilidad, amor y hermoso espíritu.

Aunque el tiempo de Vanessa en la tierra fue demasiado corto, el amor que dio y las vidas que tocó permanecerán para siempre. Su fortaleza, amabilidad y hermoso espíritu seguirán inspirando a todos los que la conocieron. Mientras lloramos su pérdida, nos reconfortan los recuerdos preciados que nos deja y el amor que nunca se desvanecerá.

In Loving Memory of Vanessa Vargas

With profound sadness and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Vanessa Vargas, who entered eternal rest on July 29, 2026, at the age of 22.

Vanessa was born on April 29, 2004, in Prosser, Washington, to her loving parents, Elena and Leonel Vargas. She spent most of her life in Benton City, where she was raised alongside her three older brothers, Cristian, Saul, and Leonel Jr., and her younger sister, Monica. Family was at the center of Vanessa’s life, and she cherished the bonds she shared with those she loved.

Vanessa was known for her beautiful spirit, kind heart, and genuine compassion for others. Her warm smile could brighten any room, and her laughter brought comfort and joy to everyone around her. She had a special ability to make people feel welcomed, valued, and loved, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing her.

As a caregiver, Vanessa dedicated herself to helping others. She approached her work with patience, empathy, and determination, always striving to provide the best care possible. Serving others was more than a job for Vanessa; it was a reflection of the caring and selfless person she was.

Vanessa found happiness in spending time with her family and friends, creating memories that will be treasured forever. Whether through her thoughtful words, her sense of humor, or the love she shared so freely, she touched countless lives and built relationships that will never be forgotten.

She was preceded in death by her beloved grandfathers, Jesus Vargas and Amador Gudino.

Vanessa is survived by her loving father, Leonel Vargas Cruz; her mother, Elena Vargas Gudino; her beloved sister, Monica Cortez; her brothers, Cristian Vargas, Saul Vargas, and Leonel Vargas Jr.; nephew, Santiago Vargas; and her niece, Isabella Vargas. She also leaves behind her grandmothers, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and many dear friends whose lives were touched by her kindness, love, and beautiful spirit.

She was preceded in death by her beloved grandfathers, Jesus Vargas and Amador Gudino.

Although Vanessa’s time on earth was far too short, the love she gave and the lives she touched will remain forever. Her strength, kindness, and beautiful spirit will continue to inspire all who knew her. While we mourn her loss, we take comfort in the treasured memories she leaves behind and the love that will never fade.

Forever loved, deeply missed, and never forgotten.
