Obituary:
Kenneth Kiehn was born on December 23, 1957, and was born and raised in Spokane, Washington. Eventually, he made the move to Prosser, Washington, where he built his life and called home.
Ken was a hardworking man who spent much of his life as a carpenter before changing careers and eventually retiring from the winery industry. No matter what job he held, he was someone who worked hard and provided for the people he loved.
Family was always an important part of Ken’s life. Some of his favorite memories were made outdoors with those he loved most. Hunting and fishing were a big part of the Kiehn family. From an early age, Ken shared adventures in the outdoors with his family, including the pride of getting his big whitetail buck when he was young. He especially loved goose hunting and fishing and treasured the time spent fishing with his dad.
Ken was gentle and soft-spoken, but he was also incredibly funny. He had a quiet way about him, but those who knew him knew there was always a sense of humor underneath. He was the kind of person whose presence brought comfort and whose memories will continue to bring smiles.
During his final days, Ken spoke of being very tired. He is now at rest and free from the burdens he carried. While we take comfort in knowing he is finally able to rest, he will be so very missed by the family and friends who loved him.
As his children, we will always remember our dad for his gentle heart, his quiet nature, his humor, and the memories we shared as a family. His life leaves behind a legacy of love, family, laughter, and a whole lot of stories that we will carry with us forever.
