Larry Chuang completed his journey on earth and moved on to his next adventure on August 21, 2026. He was 99 years old. Born in Beijing, Larry grew up in China and then moved to Taiwan and lived there for 27 years. He was in the Republic of China (ROC) Army for 24 years and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Losing his parents at a young age, he raised 3 younger siblings and supported them through post graduate college education. Larry immigrated to the United States in 1976, seeking better opportunities for his 3 daughters. All of them completed
college education and some with advanced degrees. They got to live the American dream with their own accomplishments in their field of studies.
Larry lived in Spokane Valley, WA for over forty years before moving to Richland WA to be closer to family. He enjoyed spending time with friends and traveled all over the world; exploring Europe, Asia, Canada and many US national parks. One of his favorite parks is Yellowstone. He is survived by his wife, 3 daughters (and spouses), 2 granddaughters and 1 grandson. Arrangements are under the care of Einan’s Sunset Gardens. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to all the staff at Bonaventure Assisted Living for their kindness, compassion, and friendship, which helped make Larry’s time there more comfortable. Their care and support meant so much to Larry and his family.
