Christ the King Parish mourns the loss of Jack Francis Clark, a devout member of our faith community and a Knight of the Knights of Columbus. Jack was born in Piedmont, South Dakota, and moved to Richland as a child, graduating from Columbia High School (home of the Richland Bombers) in 1966. He went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts in History from Washington State University, then spent 30 years serving the City of Kennewick and 20 more years volunteering with the Benton County Conservation District.

Jack came into the Catholic faith with his father-in-law, William Hodgson, standing as his sponsor, and he lived that faith with humility and devotion for the rest of his life. He was known and loved for his quick wit, generosity, and warmth — qualities he brought to his marriage to his wife, Anne, and to his role as father and as Papa Jack to his step-grandchildren.

Jack is survived by his wife, Anne Clark, and his siblings, Barbara, Dave, and Doug. Please keep Jack and his family in your prayers.

A Celebration of Life will be held on November 7, 2026 — what would have been his 79th birthday — at Einan’s Funeral Home. All are welcome to attend.
