Jacque Lynn Jimenez

Jacque Lynn Jimenez, 73, of Pasco, Washington, passed away peacefully on September 23, 2026, in Kennewick, Washington, surrounded by the family she cherished so deeply.

Jacque was born on August 2, 1953, to Ronald and Afton Benson. She lived her entire childhood in Blackfoot, Idaho and would always consider herself an Idaho gal. At the age of 19, while living in Idaho, Jacque met and fell deeply in love with Joe Jimenez. What began as a young love blossomed into a lifelong partnership and a once-in-a-lifetime bond. Together, Jacque and Joe built a life filled with love, laughter, adventure, and family. They ultimately made their home in Pasco, Washington, where they settled down and raised their two daughters, Hillary and Katie.

Their love remained the foundation of Jacque’s life. Joe was her soulmate and the love of her life, and the enduring partnership they shared was a source of strength, warmth, laughter, and joy. Together, they created a loving home and a family that remained at the center of Jacque’s heart throughout her life.

Throughout her professional career, Jacque proudly served her community as a loan officer with Washington Mutual (WAMU) and Chase Bank. But beyond any career or accomplishment, Jacque considered her greatest life’s work to be nurturing the close, loving relationships she shared with her family. She was devoted to raising her daughters and treasured every moment with her grandchildren.

The love and loyalty Joe and their extended families gave her helped shape the woman she was-generous, resilient, adventurous, and deeply devoted to making others feel cherished. She carried that same steadfast love into every relationship throughout her life.

Jacque was truly the life of the party. She lit up every room with her contagious laughter, generous spirit, and unforgettable sense of humor. She had an incredible zest for life and was always ready for a new adventure, approaching each experience with curiosity and enthusiasm. Jacque gave the very best hugs and snuggles and had a remarkable way of making everyone around her feel loved, valued, and cared for.

She lived by the motto, “What you think about, you bring about,” greeting each day with optimism, warmth, and an open heart.

Jacque was an avid Seattle Seahawks and Gonzaga Bulldogs fan and proudly embraced her role for her granddaughters as “Cheer Grandma.” She loved music and dancing, especially the classic sounds of The Eagles, The Beatles, Santana, Lonestar, and Three Dog Night.

Her spirit was deeply connected to nature, faith, and the open road. She enjoyed rock collecting, gardening, hiking in the mountains, spending time with the dogs she adored, and hosting lively gatherings for family and friends. She embraced life fully and found joy in the simple moments shared with the people she loved. Idaho always held a special place in her heart, particularly Challis, where she felt most at peace surrounded by the mountains and the beauty of nature.

Jacque is lovingly survived by her daughters, Hillary Afton Legard and Kathryn Opal Boler; her son-in-law, Bradley Allen Boler; her six adored grandchildren, Eric Legard, Ethan Legard, Kenadee Legard, Brooklyn Legard, Braxton Boler, and Opal Boler; her sister, Sherry Bithell and her husband, Walter; her brother, Sevell Benson and his wife, Donna; as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and lifelong friends.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband and soulmate, Joe Jimenez, and is now reunited with him in eternal peace, where their love story continues.

Jacque leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, family, adventure, and countless memories that will be treasured by all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her hugs, laughter, humor, and enormous heart will be deeply missed.

  • Jacque was a force of nature and truly was a bright light in this world. The last time I visited her she was still so happy and helping all the other folks who were in care with her. So sorry her family had to loose her but she is now where she wanted to be with Joe.

  • Death causes a pain that no one should have to feel, but love creates memories that no one can steal. I have so many fun memories of Jacque when we were both Mary Kay consultants. With deepest sympathy.

  • I’m Jacque’s first cousin, Kirk. We lived three blocks from each other growing up, were the same age and went all the way through school together, graduating high school in the same graduating class. The last time I saw Jacque was at our 20th high school reunion. She was still the same girl I grew up with. Great smile and sense of humor, one of those people you just want to be around. My condolences to her family. She was a great person all the years I knew her and it sounds like she never changed. Heaven got a good one.

  • I feel so lucky to have been part of Jacques’ life at Windsong. It was an honor to share in her laughter and her dancing spirit. Our community was brighter because of her dancing and singing, and we all feel the space she left behind. We miss her dearly and are grateful she shared her spirit with us.
