Jane Elaine Moron, 74, of Richland, Washington, passed away peacefully on September 18, 2026.

Born on March 1, 1952, in Cairo, Illinois, Jane was the daughter of Lee and Evelyn Kerr. She spent her childhood in Illinois and later lived in Leavenworth and Warden before settling in Richland, Washington, in 1972. It was there that she built her life, raised her family, and created countless treasured memories.

Jane was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. Family was the heart of everything she did. She took great joy in gathering with loved ones and treasured every moment spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

She found happiness in life’s simple pleasures. Jane enjoyed working crossword puzzles, making blankets for family and friends, watching WWE events, spending time with her beloved dogs, and trying her luck at the casino. Her creativity, humor, and loving nature brought comfort and happiness to those around her.

Throughout her working years, Jane was employed by Kadlec and Lamb Weston, where she developed lasting friendships and earned the respect of her coworkers. However, her greatest accomplishment was the loving family she nurtured and the countless lives she touched with her kindness and generosity.

Jane is lovingly remembered by her children, Michael McCrae, Susie Sanchez, Leonardo Moron (Andrea), and Moises Moron (Carol); her grandchildren, Moizaya, Mason, Nixon, Joseph, and Jacob; her great-grandchildren, Bentley and Kai; her sisters, Nora Lopez, Sue Ann McDonald, and Margaret Rocha; her brother, Grover Kerr; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Mario Moron; her parents, Lee and Evelyn Kerr; and several brothers and sisters.

Jane’s love, strength, and devotion to her family will never be forgotten. Her legacy lives in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Though she will be deeply missed, her memory will continue to bring comfort, inspiration, and love to those she leaves behind.
