Patrick Joseph Ledbetter 

January 15, 1961 – September 13, 2026

Patrick (Pat), J. Ledbetter, 65, of West Richland, WA, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on September 13th.

Pat was born on January 15, 1961 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was adopted by Ross and Margaret Ledbetter at one month old and spent his early years in Marysville, WA until they moved to Richland in 1967.

Pat married Linda (Bryant) in 1983, and together they built a life and raised their two beautiful daughters, Jessi and Jordan. Pat was incredibly proud of his girls and the families they went on to build. His greatest joy came from the people he loved, and nothing meant more to him than being surrounded by his family. As the years went on, becoming a Papa brought him an entirely new kind of happiness, and his grandchildren held an especially treasured place in his heart.

Pat discovered his passion for woodworking in wood shop at Richland High School. Shortly after graduation, he began working at Custom Woodcraft Cabinets, where he spent many years honing his craft. In the middle of his career, Pat spent 16 years with Ideal Sod, where he led business operations, before eventually returning to his true passion—woodworking.

Pat went on to open Betterwood Designs in downtown Kennewick, where he was able to live out his dream until his health no longer allowed him to continue.

More than anything, Pat will be remembered for his love of drag racing, craftsmanship and love for his family.

Pat is survived by his wife Linda; daughters Jessi Feaster and Jordan Green (Tyler), his grandchildren; Harper, Peyton and Ridge Feaster and Greyson Ledbetter, Kinsley, Karsyn and Easton Green; sister, Sally Ledbetter (April); brother-in-laws Dick Bryant (Tina), Dave Bryant (Liz), and sister-in-law Kathy Parson (Mike), in addition to numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by parents Ross and Margaret Ledbetter.

Pat’s family would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the entire Northcare team for the years of love, compassion, and exceptional care they gave him. They cared for Pat as more than a patient, they cared for him as a person, with kindness, patience, and dignity. Knowing he was surrounded by people who genuinely loved and cared for him brought our family more comfort than words can express. We will forever be grateful for the role they played in Pat’s life and for the love they showed him throughout the years.

A celebration of life will be held on September 24th from 1:00PM to 4:00PM at the West Richland Golf Course.
